Terry Ehret’s Readings and Book Events for 2009

Terry Ehret will present poems from the newly released Sometimes in the Open, an anthology of California Poets Laureate, edited by Bob Stanley.

The reading will be on the California Stage, 2509 R Street, Sacramento, CA.

A reception will be held at 6:30 PM, followed by the readings from 7:30 to 9:00 PM.

Lucky Break was among five books nominated this year for an NCBRA award in poetry.

The winners will be announced in poetry, fiction, nonfiction, translation, and children’s literature at the 28th Annual Northern California Book Awards, Sunday, April 19, at Koret Auditorium, San Francisco Main Library, 100 Larkin at Grove, at 1:00 p.m. Immediately following the awards, a reception with book signing will begin in the Latino/Hispanic Room at the Library. The ceremony and reception are free and open to the public.

Terry Ehret will be one of the author-guests at the Sonoma County Public Library Foundation’s 1st Annual “Chew On This” fundraising dinner.

It will be held at the downtown Santa Rosa branch on 3rd and E Streets.

A cocktail party and book signing in the library’s outdoor courtyard will begin at 6:15 p.m.

There will be a silent auction in the library at the same time.
